What if the problem is EXACTLY the same as stated above only: The picture is taken fine IE the viewfinder is clean the lens is clean and the picture looks normal being taken. However, some time in between the picture being taken and viewed it gets messed up. I know the camera works cause the viewfinder shows everything clear and I know the lens is clean because I looked on the lens itself (and it was dust free surprisingly) and also the digital viewfinder still works fine. Even after the digital snap the freezeframe picture looked normal.

The camera is a wonderful Kodak product and takes beautiful 8.5 Megapixel photographs. When you save the pictures to an SD card, you must at some point remove them digitally from the card.
Either by linking it to the USB cable and going from there to your PC, OR by removing the SD card from the camera and inserting it into an SD card slot in your computer, printer, or card reader. Occasionally the card readers such as the ones in your PC, printer, or card reader devices do not connect properly and will only transfer part of the data, resulting in pink ugly lined photographs. This problem can be fixed by using the USB cable instead of the built in card readers in your other devices.

Kodak easyshare troubleshooting

When you have removed all the pictures on the card next time, format the card. this will clear out all the pesky little bits that haven't been erased yet. This should speed up the card again.

Pictures turn out pink & with lines in it.It also displays this on the screen when previewing pictures.Old pictures on the memory card still look normal on the screen when reviewing them. The camera...

Try to reformat your internal memory, and then turn On the camera and use the auto mode or smart scene mode. Take a two pictures on a same subject then review the pictures after, now if the two pictures has lines on it and it has a pink in colors it means that the lens of the camera is defective that`s why it will not take a good picture. Please call kodak 1 800 235 6325 so you can request for repair

Pictures coming out pink and purple

Not sure of your model, but my Coolpix has a setting that controls picture color. Would be the same setting area as B&W.

Lines in images

Color lines in the LCD display is caused by certain type of light connections. If you get all the time when you turn on the camera then the LCD panel is bad, would need to be replaced. Black lines in printed printed pictures from your printer or the Kodak dock station printer? If that's the case, then the transfer rollers are dirty and would need to checked or replaced. Also drivers could do this also. Report the problem to Kodak Live Chat Online Tech Rep or called on the LAN line (phone).

M853 pink lines pink pictures

you may just have to take the cost of repairing or replacing it. for ashleyyy x0 and angela1178 if your screen only shows in pink no matter if your looking to take a picture or video or look through the menu the damage may be to the screen. for ginawell it seems there is damage to the data streaming from the lens to the lcd screen.
