My kodak camera m853 takes beautiful pictures, but when the pictures save, the camera saves them a pink color with horizontal lines in them. the 1st thing i want to know is why is the camera taking the pictures so beautiful, but saving them pink with lines in it? the 2nd thing i want to know is how to fix it?
What if the problem is EXACTLY the same as stated above only: The picture is taken fine IE the viewfinder is clean the lens is clean and the picture looks normal being taken. However, some time in between the picture being taken and viewed it gets messed up. I know the camera works cause the viewfinder shows everything clear and I know the lens is clean because I looked on the lens itself (and it was dust free surprisingly) and also the digital viewfinder still works fine. Even after the digital snap the freezeframe picture looked normal.

The camera is a wonderful Kodak product and takes beautiful 8.5 Megapixel photographs. When you save the pictures to an SD card, you must at some point remove them digitally from the card.
Either by linking it to the USB cable and going from there to your PC, OR by removing the SD card from the camera and inserting it into an SD card slot in your computer, printer, or card reader. Occasionally the card readers such as the ones in your PC, printer, or card reader devices do not connect properly and will only transfer part of the data, resulting in pink ugly lined photographs. This problem can be fixed by using the USB cable instead of the built in card readers in your other devices.
