Why won't my volume control work on my sky remote
Because you haven't programmed the Sky remote correctly.
Put the TV and Sky box on, and put the telly on the Sky channel. Press Interactive on the Sky remote. Choose "Program my remote" from the menu list. Follow the onscreen guide. The pages take a bit to update so be pationent

Doing some searching I came across this, I hope it helps.
From instruction booklet
Power on the control device or VCR and put the tape in.
Press on the SET key continuously,then press the device key you want to set.For example, TV1/2,or VCR1/2,or SAT/CBL or AUX.
Then the LED is on, release the key you press.
Press the SET key again and release it,then you will go into QUICK SEARCH MODE and the LED will flash all the time.
Press the POWER key once at the device,URC22B will send another POWER signal of the next code.(If VCR/AUX, you will press the POWER or PLAY key). Observe if the device works(POWER OFF or PLAY),if it works, go to next step , otherwise repeat the step
whenever you want to leave SEARCH MODE,please press the device key,(TV1/2,or VCR1/2,or SAT/CBL or AUX.)
then the LED is off.
Then check other keys like [CH+/-],[VOL+/-] if they can be controlled.If cant be controlled,go back to the step

you have to press home on your remote control, go to help and info, go to help with your remote control, a page then says if your remote control looks like the picture below and you can press yes or no but i always press yes and then you press ok to continue on the next page and on the next page there are loads of different tv makes and when you find yours you get the code that is next to it which is normally a 4 digit number, once you have the code you go back onto the normal tv, point the controls away from the tv and hold down the up volume button aswell as the mute button until the light on your remote flashes twice and then you enter your code and wait until it flashes twice again and hopefully it sould be working.

Hi Re Easytouch 42" HD TV - look for Hisense - I took a guess and LCD3204 EU code 376 - remote works but buttons don't tally up - getting there slowly!
Just bought a madeforyou 4:1 remote that is programmed on my PC.
Ok - not proper solution yet but nearly there!

1. Select any channel on the TV.
2. Point your Sky+ remote control away from the TV and press the tv button.
3. Press and hold down the Select and red buttons simultaneously on the Sky+ remote control until the red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control flashes twice.
4. Input the 3 digit number from the Sky+ remote control codes then press the Select button. The red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control should flash twice.
5. Point the Sky+ remote control at the TV and try the volume button
If this works try the other TV functions.
If these work then the correct code has been selected.
It's important to note that not all TV functions will be supported by the Sky+ remote control e.g. Picture in Picture.
If all functions do not work correctly, then repeat steps 1 - 3 and work through all the relevant 3 digit numbers from the Sky+ remote control codes, until you find the code which supports all or as many of the TV functions as possible
