Question about Sharp Televison & Video
I unhooked the cable boxes from my digital televisions (one is a Sharp LCDTV GA470WJSB and the other is a Dynex ZRC-100) and now they wont show anything. The only way I can get a picture is when I hook them straight to the canle outlets. I guess the cable company hasn't shut my cable completely off yet. Also when I auto search for channels they can only find analog channels and no digital channels. What do you think the solution is?

SOURCE: channel selection
What you need to do is take the remote, go into the menu, find channel scan and do a channel scan to find all the available stations available on this system. Make sure the TV set is in the cable mode and not antenna mode or you wont get any stations above channel 13.

This is a standard NTSC set that can only receive cable channels up to 113. Since you don't specify what digital channels you are trying to receive, I'm not sure I have completely answered your question. If not, please provide more info about what channels you are trying to get and I'll try to respond.

Make sure that you have the cable option set correctly before you do the auto search. If this is set to "AIR", you'll only be searching for an analog signal. Hope this helps.
