Are you 100 percent positive that there is power going to the stereo, i have installed for years and sometimes i suprise my self on little things i miss,
check the fuse at the back of the deck make sure the fuse didn't pop
and check the fuse in your car fuse box to make sure you didnt pop that one either, write me back if these still arent the issues

I need to know which wire is the hot wire, going from the car to the car stero

red wires in auto electrics is the nominal power wire. Use a circuit light tester and if it comes on when the ignition switch is on, or in the accessories position then that is the hot (power )wire.

The red light in my stero stay on any time i put it on

Clearly the red light is a protection device. Sadly you have probably blown one of the main power output devices in the amp. If you know which channel the two wires that touched belong to, it will narrow which one has gone.

I hooked up a new stero deck and now the interrior lights are staying an and flickering and when i bought the jeep it had no owners manual so i need to know where the fuse is to the interior lights

Fuse locations vary from year to year and also with different models. A blown fuse will not make the lights flicker. First thing you need to do is disconnect power to the radio you installed and see if the problem with the lights goes away. If it does, find another power source. Do not tap into the heavy yellow wire under the dash if you have one. That should be for air bags if you have them and if so, you can accidentally deploy the bag if you tamper with it.

I have a 1976 kenwood am fm stero receiver, the stero works great but just recently the face and power single lights went out, is their a fuse inside. I open the cover and did not see one.

A stereo or amp, either one should have a fuse, fuses for radios would be in the wiring harness behind the radio deck. An amp fuse should be obvious were they insert in the fuse blocks by the amps main power cable connector. If you see that all fuses are fine then check your ground wires if not then your radio is bad.

The power buttons doesnt turn off and is there a

there is a power button on your deck, but you must get to the screen where the clock is, touch the button and it will shut off, if not then we need to trouble shoot the situation, which is easy, if you take out your deck. and if you can find the blue wire w/ the white stripe that is located on your deck this is your remote wire, this cut the deck on and off, when hooked up properly, first your gonna need to extend this wire, so it can reach the fuse panel, then you need to locate the fuse that says cigarette lighter, pull the fuse out, and stick the extended remote wire there, then reinsert the fuse. now the deck should be off, now if you put the key in and turn it to on, the deck will come on, and when you turn the car off, it will swtay off, this will work i bet my rep on it.

Deck turns off when i hit a bump in my car

A couple things...but the deck must come out to check. (assuming this is a 12v N.American car) If you cannot remove or you dont know how - take it to a car stero shop. Electrical fires are nasty!
  1. Make sure there are no open wires and connections are tight and taped (badly crimped connectors will hide loose connections)
  2. Make sure the deck is supported in the back-it should not wiggle around.
  3. There should be a wire firmly connected to the chassis of the car and the back chassis of the deck - Please do not drill into the deck - use an existing bolt !
