My 946 shut off while in use and will not power up.
The light on the power supply that plugs in the back is on.
If you have access to a a voltmeter, check the voltage at the end of the power cable that plugs into the printer. If you can read the voltage that is usually printed on the power supply, then you have a printer problem.
