AND ALWAYS U CAN GO FROM -CONTROL PANEL- TO -DEVISE MANAGER- AND FROM THERE U SEE THE PRINTER DOUBLE CLIK ON IT AND U SEE INFO OF DEVISE(PRINTER) LIKE DEV ID (DEVISE ID) COPY THE ID AND GO THERE https://devid.info/ AND JUST PASTE AND FOUND THE DRIVERS
You should delete the game from the AR and retry adding it, if the problem persists you may need to update your software; you may also want to check if your typing the codes correctly. Finally make sure the people/websites you are getting these codes from are liable. Oh ps. it helped me a lot to have friends help me when typing codes because you can switch off for who types and who reads. Sorry if this didn't help.
make sure your usb cord is plugged in to your DSi AR and computer. **do not have the AR plugged in to the DSi. then put the AR's CD ROM in. you go to start menu. type in device manager. right click Dsi AR... click the driver tab. click update driver. click browse computer. then check the box [subfolders]. BROWSE. find DSi CD ROM folder. and voila! :D it should work
if u dont have the ar cd, that's ok. you use the cd and ar cord to install the action replay code manager. if you go to a website like neoseeker or supercheats that has action replay codes posted, you can copy a code and then go to the ar code manager and add it to your codelist. i only use the code manager for really long cheats. you can still enter cheats manually to ur ar, but without the disk, you cant quickly put long cheats onto ur action replay. you can get an ar disk at walmart, target, or gamestop. sorry if this is too long, but i hope it helps.
Don't return it! Your Action Replay DS is corrupted. To fix it, turn the DS on (with AR in it) while holding A and B. Then, at the white screen, after "Nintendo DS" but before "This product is not licensed or endorsed by Nintendo", hold down Start and Select while still holding A and B. A few seconds will pass and then the title screen will appear. A few seconds after it appears, release all the buttons. The screen will go white, so just restart the device. Now do a Quick Update in Action Replay Code Manager (on the PC) by pressing the Quick Update button in the corner of the window while the AR (still inserted in the DS) is connected via USB. After it's done, viola! A fixed Action Replay.
when i did this i had the same problem but while it does recognise it for just a little whyle, quickly press quick update and wait for the bar to go from one side to the other and then wait for it to update your action replay from a to z and then it should recognise it after that but if not just do it again but dont push the wire in to far ok

Many are experiencing this, what you are looking at here is a faulty action replay. go to the Datel website and submit your serial number to them, it will immediatly say whether or not your AR is from the time period when they had a problem with the internal USB reading system, if it is, then send it in and one will be shipped withing 10-12 weeks
Sorry, my last desc should be ignored here are all to solutions to problems. I know:
Prob: Two white Screens: Solution: none so far, have emails sent to Datel. see what happens. This occurs when attempting save codes with the DS and the AR is pulled out or DS powered off. My suggestion if you get a new one, only update codes using the PC software.
Prob: AR keeps asking for game cart. insertion: Solution: remove AR and put in game cart.
Prob: AR not enough memory to update codes: Solution: there is more bugs in their software/firmware that doesn't really know when items are deleted and space is free. You must reset AR cart. and then use the PC software to reload all the codes:
a) First I would update the AR PC software (no DS AR connected) b) Connect DS with AR to PC then update the AR firmware c) Disconnect DS AR from PC d) DS off hold A+B when TURN ON DS when DS logo shows press START+SELECT with A+B still down as well, hold for a while. turn off DS e) Reconnect to PC, turn on DS and drag the PC US codes to the DS side. (Note: I had to do 4 & 5 a couple of times it finally worked)
Prob: AR PC software not seeing the DS AR connection: Solution: The PC drivers are not being found for the NDS link. You need to do the following:
a) close the AR PC software, and disconnect the AR DS. b) connect the AR DS and then the windows new hardware driver install window pops up. must select using the manual browse option. c) go the the action replay directory either on the action replay CD you bought or from a extracted version from the web. (NOTE: this is not the installed location, but before where the setup.exe exists) I had lost my CD and did about 10 minutes and found a .rar of the source code. d) pick the action replay subdirectory and click on install e) you should see the NDS link drivers being installed. f) start the AR PC software and attempt to connect the DS AR it should work.
