I want to change the name (My caller ID)when I fax how can I do that It show up as Holy Dreams that name of our former company. I want it to show as our new company. How do I do that

I believe you wish to change the "Station ID" on your MFC-240C. This setting will print out your company name and other header info on your faxes:

1) Press the <Menu> key
2) Press <Up> or <Down> Navigate to "Initial Setup"
3) Press <OK>
4) Note: Your station ID is already set, therefore the machine will prompt you to choose: (1) change, or (2) exit without changing - choose (1) to change
5) Enter your fax number, then press <OK>
6) Enter your company name using the dial pad keys. This may take a little practice. Press the dial pad key the correct number of times to produce your desired letter. Use your (>) right navigation key to advance to the next space. If you entered a letter incorrectly and want to change it, press the left navigation key to move the cursor under the incorrect letter.
7) Press <OK> when finished
8) Press <Stop/Exit> to resume normal operation

There! You should have it. I hope this helps!

Reloaded XP from cds. My Toshiba laptop has a product code/ID but

Are the cds the originals that came with your laptop? If not then that is the problem- you need to use a Toshiba OEM cd for your product key to work with it. If you are using a different brand cd (dell, hp, acer, etc.) then you will need to use their product key.
