I got a new laptop and would like to connect to the internet using my home network. I was asked for a security key/passphrase which I couldn't remember. Pleae help.

Log into the management council on the router. From there, you can find or replace your passphrase.

open your web browser; and type in this address, be sure to use the dots: 192.168.0.1

You will be guided to a login screen. the username is ADMIN (not case sensitive).

The password is blank...that is, do not type anything in the password box. Hit enter.

When in doubt RESET! You can always go back and encrpyt once you have it all setup. The reset button should be located on the unit somewhere, just hold it for 30 sec or so and it will revert to default settings. After that just follow your document specs. Write back if any more troubles persist.

I have a laptop Windows XP that had built in wireless internet. It was working really well and I still had that wireless connection on my laptop. My brothers went on it one night and when I got back on it there were all these viruses and pop ups. And even worse my wireless connection was deleted. I tried reinstalling it but I still cant get it back.HELP....I want to restore my wireless network connection please help....
