Question about Jl Audio 250/1 Car Audio Amplifier
I just bought a JL audio 250/1 amp, to power my pioneer champion series TS-W307D4
rms ratings: the amp is rated at 250 W rms, the sub at 400 W rms
When the amp's settings are normal, i mean when its pumping exactly the 250 watts (22,4 volts at 2 ohms), the sub doesnt do much
should i go for a more powerful amp?
is it safe to set the gain on this amplifier really high to get almost 600 W rms? (35V*17,5 amps on the output level)
How much power can i get from that amp before its dangerous for it?
and is it suitable for my sub?
You should move up to more power....underpowering subs is bad! try not to go under the subs rms by 5o watts?
