- Thank you guys for your feed back I have been working with computers since 1984. No no degree, but can do most anything. I got laid off from my job, so I have recently started my own home technology business. this site seems it is going to help me get a second opinion on my diagnoses. thank you!

I concur. $75 or so should be about right. Some laptops require a lot work to change the simplist things. If it is a retail business or something, they might charge more.

Depends on your location and country.I would do this in 15 min and charge you £60 here in the Uk.That would be only labour.That exclude parts...Hope this gives you an idea of labour on these..
