Start page comes up but then freezes. Only three months old.

- Nintendo have advised me to return the unit to them (free post if I ever get the return forms emailed to me have been on to them twice now asking for this form) still have got warranty reference number

They replaced the mother board in mine. Hope you have the same success by following (The Ogre) advice. Must admit Nintendo advice line sometimes hard to get through but I found them to be (Real) People that you can relate to and apparently based in England?, So well worth the try

Press and hold + & - on the wiimote at the warning screen upon power-up. This enters maintenance mode. Save your game saves onto a memory card and your Mii's to your wiimote. Go into the options menu and reconfigure your memory. Read the manual for the warnings before attempting this.
