Question about Computers & Internet
Go to my computer and open it, and you should see the Flash Drive.
Right click on it, and from the dropdown menu select format.. (It will
be FAT 32)
As I am not familiar with your exact make of drive, check that IF it has a tiny slide protect switch on the side. If it has, try formatting it, if it won't, push the switch forward or back and it shouild then format.
As you do not give details of your computer, I cannot give further instruction for a your O/s.
If it's XP the drive should be recognised automatically, but if its Win98, it will need you to install the driver you got with it on the CD supplied.
If No slider switch found ...try this..
Under Storage in the left panel, click on Disk Management, wait a minute for Windows to do whatever it is doing,......
Locate the data stick/thumb drive/whatever-you-want-to-call it, in the right top windowand click on it.
in the popup, click on "Delete Partition" -- make darn sure you are doing this to the RIGHT drive!!!!!
Right click again, and choose "Create Partition" (or was it format, I forget maybe it was both).
