Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 Digital Camera
I have an almost new Sony dsc-w80. The lcd screen started showing some colored vertical lines a few weeks after I bought it. And recently the lcd screen went all white and it is almost impossible to see anything on it. The pictures that I take with it are OK.
I sent it to Precision Camera in CT for repairs under warranty. They insisted that the lcd problem was due to an "impact damage" eventhough there is no sign of a physical impact or damage on the camera what so ever. They refused to repair it under warranty. So, I took it back with out repairs.
How can I find an LCD screen for this camera and any guidence to how to replace it?
You will need to send it the sony directly for repairs rather then Precisions Camera in CT since they are only a authorized repair center rather then a direct manc. place.
Please call 1 800 282-2848. Best if you have a proof of purchase to go with it.
