SOURCE: My Haier 12 wine bottle cooler is dead. No fan or cooling .

Check the 2 fuses,one covered with black heat shrink, next see if internal fan is spinning, inside door, the 2 fans on the back should spin when first plugged in. also the 2 led's red and green should light up...if internal fan doesn't spin then check or replace, use batteries to get it to spin as a test...good luck,safety first...

The upper and lower are 2 different part numbers.

check if it still has power, if it does check the back of the cooler to see if the fans have stopped running, you might need new fans.

Are red wines stored on the top or bottom of the Haier BC112G wine cooler? How about white wine? Have lost my owners manual and don't know where to put red wine when the temp is set cooler for white wine

is the link to your manual.Typically in a dual temperature zone wine cooler whites are stored in the bottom and reds on top as whites are better a little colder and the cold air will drop to the bottom of the unit.

Wine cooler Doesn't work

I had the same issue on a Whynter WC28S SNO 28 Bottle Wine Cooler, it even seems like most of the thermoelectric wine coolers, fridges, and such have the same boards by hanny. For cross refference parts I used NTE because Fry's Electronics had them.
Switching transistors - NTE51
1N 4007 - NTE125
Silicon Dual Power Rectifier - NTE6090

Also I have a venotemp wine cooler that has pretty much the same board, with the same plugs for fans, light, control panal, and cooler fan for $45 shipped at their site under replacement parts. Hope this helps people looking for info on this. Also research Switching Power Supply issues for information.

Haier wine cooler freezes the wine.

You may find that the thermostat is not working. Try to turn the thermostat to the warmest setting, the compressor should switch off within two hours, if not change the thermostat.

Yes, those motors shoudl be pretty standard stock items at any local appliance parts supply house found in the yellow pages.

You might also try lookinmg under "motors and controls" in the yellow pages. If you get it locally like that then you can physically compatre the old one with the new one to make sure it is indeed the same part.

Thats better than an online link with just pictures.

I have a Haier HVW12ABB 12-Bottle wine cooler that is less than a year old and just craped out. It was a gift so i don't have a recipet to get the warenty.

J have the same model HVW12ABB, bought it a year ago, I don't believe keep the receipt still. The cooler suddently stopped cooling, tried troubleshooting and realized, the interior light was not workin either. Then I decided to check for any blown electronic part. I pulled off the back plate back, looked for any blown fuse, but nothing seemed like defective. A
