Question about Pit SSR 110CC Pro Beginner Bike

1 Answer

My brand new ssr 110 makes a weird almost honking sound when throttling or letting out on the clutch. It is a quick errrrrrrrch noise. Any ideas what this could be. The bike has been ridden for like ten minutes only.

I would have to guess and this is only a guess that it is the sound of the clutch slipping. It may be in need of adjustment as that even new stuff can be messed up. I would say that it is not fully engaging and allowing it to slip that is why you are getting the noise when letting out on the clutch and when throttling. I would think that you should be able to adjust it yourself try finding and adjustment on the cable should be your fix.

Honk is much fainter

More than likely that is what happened. The water is inside stopping the steel diaphragm from moving and producing the noise.

Philips TV making a strange clicking noise

A model number would be helpful to answer this but:

This clicking sounds (no pun) like either a mechanical relay in the set's power supply or possible arcing somewhere in the set.

These sets also have a shutdown feature that if engaged may sound like a tic-tic sound.

Let me know model number which is not indicated on this question here.

2004 TB EXT. Lately its been running rough. When I start it, it has a quick vibration-noise then stops. When I turn it off, it makes a weird stumble(very fast) then dies. Sounds as if the exhaust is...

1st things first, clean that throttle body with carb cleaner with the battery disconnected.

Check your motor mounts and transmission mounts for the vibration at start up and when your foot is on the brake. I just went through this with my TB. The mounts may look ok visually, but they may be going flat. Changing the gear oil won't solve anything you have described, however, it's time to change, then change it.

Did you recently change your spark plugs to a brand other than AC Delco 41-103's? I've seen platinum plugs make our TB's run rough also the worst is Bosch. Stick with the iridium Delco's, will have a smoother running vehicle. Hope something in here helps.
