Why does my m55 loses wifi connection?

The Vizio VO230E does not have network capabilities built in. The TV has built around 2009 before many TVs included either wired or wireless networking. The manual has the specifications on page 61; the manual is available here: http://cdn.vizio.com/manuals/kb/legacy/vo320emanual.pdf .

To get a wireless connection, you need to connect some sort of streaming device with wireless networking to the TV. This can be a computer, a ChromeCast and your phone or tablet, a Roku device or another streaming box. Plug the HDMI cable (or device plug) or the device into one of the two HDMI ports on the TV. Connect the device to a power source, if one is needed. (For devices that use a USB power connection, do not connect the USB power cord to the service port of the TV. Connect it to a charger.)

Since your choice of devices range in price from the ~$15 Roku Express to several hundred dollars for computers, depending on the specifications, you will need to decide which features/platforms you want.

1. i assume you have a smart tv that is internet connectable?
2. what is the source of your stream to the tv, pc, phone etc

i stream from my computer via hifi to my media player which is connected to my tv through a HDMI cable

3. if your tv is hifi equipped then you can stream from your computer through your wifi home network which you need to set up

If you haven't done so already, you first need to create a Roku account at the following link: Welcome to your Roku account
Then you will be able to enter the link code from your device at the following link:Roku Link Device , this will link your Roku device to the Roku account you've created.
After you've completed the previous steps, you may now enter the linking code given when trying to open the Facebook Roku Channel on your Roku device. Here's the link: Facebook logo
When attempting to open an unregistered channel for the first time on your Roku Device/TV, which requires a 'Code' for activation, it will show you the specific web-address needed to be opened with a browser on your computer, and your activation code to link both channel, and device.

Do you own a smart tv or a streaming device like a Ruko, a blu-ray player with streaming capabilities, or a xbox or other gaming console with streaming feature?... Also you need high speed internet with a downstream speed of 15Mbps or greater for streaming video in HD, an updated modem and a and very fast router running at least 300Mbps or greater. IMO. This works for me.

WEP or WPA encryption code Wifi checked?
Modem or router going in to reset possibly.
Possibly 2nd device present with same key.
