I have a Samsung TXT2782X/XAA i AM WONDERING IF IT HAS A COMPONENT CALLED HDMI OR DVI OR VGA (15 pin sub) so I can hook it up to my computer

Hi, I'm afraid that not only a cable is needed but an analog (vga) to digital (dvi) converter/scaler as well. The iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12 can hook up to a PC using the DVI-I connection only. As you said, your computer has the standard 1D15 pin VGA connector. Another possibility is if your video card has a composite video output (normally a color yellow RCA female) or an S-Video output which will both connect direct to your iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12. For the RCA connection all you need is an ordinary RCA to RCA shielded wire cable and for the S-Video, an S to S Video cable will work. There is of course the question about the quality or the resolution. Good luck and hope that this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.

Have you tried downloading the newest most up-to-date drivers availiable? If not I would try that first.
If that fails to work, I would check and see if there are any bios updates as the video card is part of the motherboard. However, I would think that since it works without the drivers, it would be a driver issue, not bios. When you have the drivers installed, does the video show up while booting and then fail in Windows?
You may also be hitting a range or resolution that is not supported by your TV. That being said, you could check your TVs owner manual for supported modes. If you do not have your owners manual, try setting the video card at some different resolutions with a monitor, shut down, plug back into the tv, and then restart the computer. If you find one that works, great!

Make sure the Geforce outputs in DVI-digital
then Boot the PC while the TV is on and
connected. This allows the card to read the EDID from the TV and provide the
best resolution...
Most displays work best at their native resolution, which
is either 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, or 1024 x 768 for most HD TVs. It sounds
like your video card has difficulty handling resolutions that high and that may
be your problem.
One has to remember that DVI/HDMI is capable of carrying
two types of Colourspaces: RGB and YPrPb. Unless modified, the PC will always
output RGB.
Do you any other components that use HDMI that you
can test, or another HDMI port on your TV that you can use? If not, then the
best you can do is swap the cable and contact your provider about the problem, Make sure the Geforce outputs in DVI-digital
