if its not advanceing on automatic cycle but is advanceing on timed cycle its a thermostat if its not adv, on either its the timer let me no ill finish your instructions
Hi, If the dry is heating and neither the automatic or the time cycle will advance, you will need to replace the timer. You can test the timer by removing the rear panle and locate the 2 black wires on the timer motor. While the dryer is running, check and see if there is 120V going where the black wires attach to the timer contacts.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

My dryer was working fine until my son stopped it took out the blanket I was drying and put his shirt in to dry. He pushed the button and it would not come on. The light is on inside but the dryer will not start. I checked the fuse and everything seems fine. Any ideas?
