Question about Samsung BlackJack II Smartphone
When I plugged it into the charger it had an orange/amber light, it ran out of power and now won't charge. I'm think a new battery but I am unsure.
Return to the carrier for warranty repair.
If you are out of warranty there are some options you can choose from
1. Get repaired
2. New phone
3. external charging source
The external battery charger runs about 20 dollars on ebay with an extra battery.

I've had similar issue with my Samsung Blackjack II i617, the battery would not charge if it ran completely out of powre (i.e. like after leaving my SNES emulator running). I suspected it could be the battery so I purchased a couple to came up with the same issue, so the issue is with the i617 itself. I purchased another i617 and same issue! so it must be a design flaw
For all those still loving their i617, the solution is an external charger for the battery exclusively: OEM Samsung BlackJack i607 Battery Charger Cradle
it goes for as little as $4.40
hope this helps anynone
