How do i?? (by 20 users)

In order to add pictures, you need to go to the Media>Pictures folder (go to My Computer>Opal (should be listed under Audio Devices as Opal with an icon that looks sort of like an old Minidisc player - you might have to scroll down to find the icon once you click on "My Computer in Win XP), and add pictures from your collection.  This doesn't work for video.  

To add videos, you have to convert and add video from the RCA video converter software which comes bundled with the Opal.  Once the video is converted, you still need to use the software to transfer the files - it doesn't seem you can do so through the file browser like you can with music and pictures.

I'm using Magic Video Convertor to convert .fla files from YouTube, etc. into AVI files, and then convert them through the RCA convertor.

You can get the 8GB Opals for less than $70 @ Wally World where I live, which is absolutely unbeatable value for this kind of player.  The screen is smallish and the menu and buttons suck, but once you get used to it you'll have tons of fun.  I got some of these for my kids and one for me and my wife, and we love it.
