I DO NOT HAVE THE FUNCTION OF TURNING THE TV ON OR OFF WITH THE CONTROLLE- ALSOI LOST ALL CONTROLL OF MY SOUND CONTROLLS

Unplug,replug the tv about an hour later,let the tv reset itself back to factory setting.Go in the tv menu go to AUDIO.Go down to reset let the sound function in the Tuner baord reset itself to the correct setting.From now on ur tv should not lost suond, when turn tv off and turn tv on anymore.

Please insert the cd that you got with your pc and then reinstall the drivers of sound,this will work 100%.

The zoom works when I changed the resolution! The tilting function does not but I dont care about this!

you wont be able to controll the volume from the tv to controll your reciever, but you can have sound come from both, with different controlls.
on your tv (not sure what you got) in your tv menu select : TV SPEAKER TO ON, and then the sound will come out your tvspeakers as well as the reciever, but to be brutally honest you dont want to do that.
that will cause an echo effect and will drive you nuts

First check all the volume controlls and mute function on the laptop ,make sure you dont just have it turned down low or muted.
Next, plug some headphones or an earbud into the headphone jack and check to see if that works.
If you have no sound in either place:Click START - SETTINGS - CONTROLL PANEL - SYSTEM - click the HARDWARE tab at the top - click device manager - scroll down to where you see "sound, video & game controllers - click the + next to it, this will reveal your sound card and if there is no listing of it or a YELLOW exclamation point or question mark, this means it has no driver , is missing a driver or has a wrong driver installed. If ANY of these yellow marks are present, right click on the item thats marked and click on roll back driver, this should reinstall the last driver that was working.
If there is NO driver, you will have to post your laptop brand and model and i will find the correct driver for you and post a link here with instructions.

You press Menu.. Then Volume Up... then Channel Up or Down to go through Contrast, brightness, tint.. then Volume up or down to change the setting. Then menu again to escape.

did you mean remote controll?
if you mean remote controll the common trouble of remote controlls is only three
1) the IR LED /infrared led
2) dirty contacts of keypad
3) leaky/open/shorted capacitor

Check the volume controll on the player you are using. Players like Power DVD etc have volume controlls and mute buttons the mute might be active or the volume is down.

this is a common problem because it is the same brand controll the only way i found to get round this is cover up one of the sensors on either the telly or the suround i have the same prob with my v+box and my dvd box i found if you cover the one sensor you can use the controll on the other with no problem this is a pain as you have to keep covering the sensor up this might not work on yours but this is the only way i can get round it on some controlls their is a safe mode witch stops other controlls affecting it but you have to switch this on and off to change anything witch is a pain sorry i couldnt help any more ...............

Hold down power on vcr/dvd unit or the remote for 8 seconds. It turns the SAFE mode on or off.
