I cannot transfer the pictures from the phone disk to the computer. It shows that the camera folder is empty. Do I need to install a SanDisk driver first? How?

No the phone has saved the images in a format that is not known to your computer. You need to look up your phone information and find out what image format your phone saves in, and then download a program to read those image files on your pc.

I have a Sansa e250 but i lost the cd with the software on it. I forgot how to put music onto it, do i have to convert it first? Please help!

Hello,

All support for Sansa e200 players can be found here:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4487/session/L3NpZC92WmxVWmRZag%3D%3D/sno/0#e200
Music transfers can be done, connected with the provided USB cable in 2 modes:

MTP = Media Transfer Protocol, when using a software program or Windows Media Player (10 or higher). In WMP10 or 11 select Library or Sync to create playlists and synchronize the playlists with the player.

MSC = Mass Storage Class, when using Windows explorer, viewing the player as a removable disk. Perform "copy and paste" or "drag and drop" actions onto the external USB device (drive letter memory with 2GB capacity).

For pictures and video use software program Sansa Media Converter on the computer. After conversion in SMC transfer media onto the player.

How do you put music on it? I have it connected.

1. Free a USB port on your desktop computer. Now, grab the USB cable for your SanDisk Sansa MP3 player and connect the player to your computer. 2. Wait for your computer to find and recognize the player. This may take a few moments. Once you receive a confirmation message, open your computer and scan the icons for the SanDisk MP3 player. 3. Open the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player on your computer. The music files that you currently have saved to the player?s memory are displayed. 4. Open a folder containing music files that is stored in your desktop computer?s memory. Scan the files for songs that you want to transfer to the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player. 5. Left-click on a song file and drag to the SanDisk Sansa window. Drop the file and let your computer complete the transfer. The transferred file appears at the bottom of your music list. 6. Unplug your SanDisk Sansa player from your computer. Turn the player on and allow the file transfer to update to the internal memory of the MP3 player.

You can use either Windows Explorer or Windows Media Player to transfer the files to your mp3 player. Microsoft's website has great help files on doing this, including video tutorials.

The user's manaul for this product also has instructions - you can get this from Sandisk's website.

How we put photo into sansa sandisk?

Hey Bossu-78,

According to information provided by the manufacturer, you should be able load pictures onto your Sansa player by following the steps below:

1) Connect your MP3 player to your computer.

2) Select "Convert using Sansa Media Converter" when the player first establishes a connection.

3) Click on the "Add media" button to select the photos you want to add to your player.

4) The files being transferred should be added to "My Album." You can then click on the album name box and choose the name that you want for that collection of files.

5) Click on the "Convert" button to start the transfer process.

If you're still not sure how to proceed, you may want to check out the manufacturer's website for more information:

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,

Mp3

connect it to the computer first.
some MP3 players are very simple, just copy/paste the music from your computer.
but some, provided with a driver/software cd must habe this own programs instaled to permit the music transfer.
so,if you have this cd,install it and use the own SanDisk programe to transfer the music
good luck:)and dont forget to rate my answer.thank you.

Sansa turns on but does NOT do anything!!! :0!!

Sounds like you have a few different problems, thankfully its easy to resolve. Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website, select FORMAT when prompted. http://sandisk.com/assets/file/downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe Best of Luck. (this only works with non Rhapsody devices, annotated by an 'R' or the word Rhapsody on back)

Annoying problem

Hi. If that particular computer is unable to update the music information when you transfer it to the player (and it does when other computers are used), it is highly probable that your Windows Media needs to be updated. You could download Windows Media 10 or 11 from the Microsoft website since these updated versions contain the necessary MTP drivers that allow ID3 tag information to be synchronized to the M250 (and other Sansa players as well). Also, you could manually edit the ID3 tag of the songs by right-clicking a music file, selecting "Properties", then finding the "advanced" button to display the ID3 information of that music file. I hope this helps :)
