Disconnect the oven element, if it does not trip, then element is faulty, you nneed to replace same.

Hi I have a 4year old Lamona 4601 double oven, the top oven/grill works fine but when I turn on fan oven it trips the power on the main house fuse board.

When the main breaker trips it indicates current is escaping from the circuit to ground.
If it is a micro-circuit breaker that trips it indicates the circuit is consuming too much current - a short circuit.

Either way the wiring or the oven elements have a fault and need attention.

My Creda Reflection double oven keeps tripping the oven fuse when I turn it on? It doesn't trip straight away, it works for a minute or so and then trips the fuse. Any ideas?

call an electrician to check the circuit insulation for shorts
could be vermin cooked across electrical terminals , failing insulation, grease /fat across terminals
dead shorts trip the breaker immediately, ground leakage problems take a little longer

Cooking a roast in small oven last nite, all electric went, oven tripped it. Now no top oven working or main oven or fan. What has gone wrong?

When the mains fuse keeps tripping as soon as you switch on the oven, there could be a shortage in the oven, or some of the voltage is leaking to the ground. What it is causing it? I would not know. sorry.

Fuse keeps tripping

tripping a circuit breaker indicates a dead short or insulation failure
not being able to move the main switch indicates that the contacts inside are burnt together
only option is to call an accredited electrician to test the circuits and rectify the fault
tell him to bring spare elements is case on e or both have burnt out

Bosch HBN7052 - main fuse tripping even after replacing the heating element

It appears there is too much current (electricity) being drawn towards the element, seeing once you replaced it, it worked fine for 5 minutes and then tripped again...I believe the problems lies within the wiring going towards the element, or the thermostat that controls the amount of current coming towards the element. Instead of turning off at a desired temperature, its not and continuing to heat up to the point of tripping the fuse. Try replacing the thermostat.

Main oven trips electric when switched on top oven works fine also grill . did notice that fan was making a noise

If the fuse or circuit breaker is tripping it is most likely a short circuit in the oven element.

Bottom oven not working

A tripped breaker or blown fuse on an electric oven or cook-top, combined with an element that has stopped working, is usually a sign of a shorted, then blown (if the fuse or breaker no longer fail) element.

If you know how to use an ohmeter, you can pull the element, disconnect the wires from each end, then measure the resistance between each end of the element, and each element to the outer sheath.

A good element has just a few ohms of resistance between the wire connection points, and infinite resistance from the wire connection points to the outer sheath. Any readings other than that means the element is bad and need's to be replaced.

If the fan is running, then it is safe to say that the oven element has gone.
Replace with a new one,(element that is).,
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.
