KRUPS FRESH AROMA F619, after 4 weeks dead as a door nail

KRUPS FRESH AROMA F619 COMBO BREWER & GRINDER. One morning after less than 4 weeks of use it didn't turn on. It was dead like a door nail. Several reviews have mentioned this problem.
I kept it clean as requested in the accompanying booklet.

Use the bursh that came supplied with the coffeemaker to clean around the exterior of the motor area, underneath the grind basket. Make sure the chute is clean as well.

SOURCE: Can the lid on the Krups Aroma coffeee pot be

Yes!!! by the word lid do you mean the top or swing out filter holder? If you use small flat screwdriver you can expand plastic at hinge enough to pull apart!

SOURCE: My Krups Grinder Brewer has stopped pulling water

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, but no heating on the plate, and no dripping of water.

The KM7000 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at [email protected].

Krups 203 Blade Replacement Procedure

Krups is among one of the foremost names in coffeemakers, espresso machines, blenders and toaster ovens. Krups also makes coffee bean grinders, such as the Krups 203a. This portable, plug-in grinder has a removable lid and bean grinder chamber. The blade on the Krups bean grinder is fastened to the bottom of the grinder chamber. You may need to replace the blade on your Krups 203. The Krups 203 comes with a limited 1-year warranty, but the company recommends you send your grinder to the company to make repairs. Order replacement parts for your grinder by calling the Krups customer service department at 1-800-526-5377.

Unplug your Krups grinder from the wall.

Remove the grinder's lid, and use a cloth to wipe out the inside of the grinder chamber.

Put your safety gloves on and then grasp the blade of the grinder with your channel locks.

Use the pliers to turn the plastic fastening nut to the left as you continue to hold the blade with the channel locks. Once the plastic nut comes loose, twist it off by hand and remove it, along with the plastic washer beneath it and the old blade.

Set the new blade in place, and replace the washer and nut. My Kenmore Elite grinder and coffee brewer ground this morning, but then would not brew. Any ideas? The machine stayed on but never made another sound.

Try cleaning the chute from the grinder to the basket. Coffee oils build up and plug the chute. I clean mine every 3 - 4 days and have had no problems.

EA6935 krups powdered coffee inside grinder and coffee grounds noncompact

You will need to pull the grinder apart & clean it out. Most likely cause of the grinder blocking up is a leak somewhere inside the machine dampening the grounds as they exit the grinder. They bind up, won't fall out and there is your blockage. You will need to find and fix the leak, there are many, many places for the leak to be, it's a job for a Krups Service Agent. I have outer housings with cutouts in them so I can run them and look inside at the same time to find those troublesome leaks.

How to disassemble krups GVX coffee grinder

It's pretty simple when you know how.
Yeh, it's a very cheap Grinder to replace (£30) but when you can buy a pair of burr plates at £8 which includes p&p, it's worth the 40 minute fix, even if for curiosity and satisfaction!

Krups KM7005 coffeemaker/grinder does not heat or drip the water

The heating plate is actually your hot water heater for the unit and it has most likely failed. The water flows through the heating plate and heats the water for brewing. Krups replaced my whole coffee brewer.

My Krups Grinder Brewer has stopped pulling water though the system. It just stays in the resevoir. Grinder part seems to be working fine.
