Question about Troy Bilt 5.5hp Self Propelled Mower
After running the left wheel into a wall, my self propel doesnt work anymore. I have pulled the cover off and see that the cable for the self propel was stretched. Instead of repairing or replacing, i tried engaging the trigger manually and wheels still wont turn. Any solutions???
You probaly have a broken gear or engagment lever. the part the cable goes through before the cable goes thru the deck. you also could have sheared a pin or the plastic gear that drives it.
