Question about Minolta EP4000/5000 CS/PRO Copier
Making copies, and copier all of a sudden stops and gives error code C0400 (c is lighter than the #s). Copier is completely locked up.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
C0400 is exhaust fan code. Open the front door to clear. Make also all covers are closed front and both sides.

Take the rear panel off the machine. In the back near the top you'll see a rat cage fan, below that you'll see a steel plate with a pancake motor below it. Take out the single screw holding that plate and remove the plate. Remove the ozone filter behind that plate and clean all the dust off of it, it'll probably be totally plugged, and reinsert it. That may or may not fix the problem, probably not because the fan motor is most likely going bad.
