Question about Epson Stylus C86 InkJet Printer
Printer will not print.
My printer is flashing two red lights and the message says there is a communication error. it is plugged in and the cartridges should be full as I replaced them not long ago.
Communication error is saying that the computer & printer is not communicating. Try uninstalling the driver/software and then download updated drivers/software for the o/s you are using from the support link on epson.com. Install the updated drivers/software and see if it works. Hope this helps.

If the 2 red lights flashes with the ON button OFF then it's already a hardware failure. all you can do is turn it OFF, disconnect it from the power source and comp then check for foreign objects inside just by looking. if it's still doing it then you need to have it serviced.
