Question about Craftsman 42 in. Deck 19.5hp Lawn Tractor
I would think more than likly your seat switch is bad. Try disconnecting the switch, do not jump, and see if it works ok. If not, then jump the switch.
Depending how old the tractor is, the switch can work either way.
