Make sure that the phone cord is plugged into "line" and not "phone" You can also check by pressing "on hook" button to see if you get a dial tone. Also, Call the fax number to see if the machine is trying to receive.....you should get high pitched, varying tones (hand shake is what they call it) this will let you know if the fax part is talking to phone line.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Does a Gestetner 2212 work with a Mac OSX Version 10.6.7

If your device cames with PS, yes you can.
With MacOs You need Post Script to print with any printer. I know that the latest versions of Mac already print with PCL. I can not tell you if your version is the latest.
Although you can take a look on this web site http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php.
See you!

I have a Gestetner 2212 here at the office and it kept getting jammed up. the copier guy came yesterday and "fixed" it by cleaning the photoconductor unit. It worked great for a few hours, but now it won't...

yes... either the network cable got unplugged from teh copier or you have an ip conflict... here is how to tell... if you have an ip confilict... unplug the network cable from your pc... print a network status page or go into the print driver and pull the ip address from it and then, on your pc, press start, accessories, command prompt and then type ping and type in copier's ip address then press enter... it should look like this ping 192.168.168.168 if you don't get four time outs... then you have an ip conflict and you need to change the ip address of the copier to one thats not in your ip range... generally thats a low ip address...something that ends in a number less than 100
