Control panel has burnt out motherboard.. nothing works

Motherboard fried.. my home pool service company diagnosed yesterday... my equipment is way out of their league...have located Jandy repairman out of town, and wish to ship my damaged Motherboard, which I have removed from control box... anything else that may be broken, or burnt out? maybe a sensor? Notice there are other things, marked as "relays"?

I have an Aqualink RS8 control system. For about a week now, my pump would shut off, along with other auxilliary and all the lights come on. The LED says 6700 REV C and I can't reset it, inside or outside. Sometimes it would just fix itself and reset but then the a few days later, it would shut off again. Hoping for a quick fix.

Intermittent Intermatic Pool Timer T40003RT3 The pool timer is 220v but only one 110v 20amp breaker in the breaker box to the pool equipment and when it is off the pump will not run in manual mode.

http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-Intermatic-control-centers.html

http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-control-centers-and-manuals.html#RT3

RT3 series has T104 240 volt timer -or- T103 120 volt timer, -plus- low voltage transformer for pool light.
The circuit breaker can be used for transformer, or another outlet or nearby light etc, or it can be used for a T103 120 volt timer.
To trace the wire back to breaker box.... open you main panel and start turning off breakers one at a time and label the panel.
See if you have single breaker or double breaker supplying power to pool equipment.

What does a timeout message indicate

Timeout:
Your pool service company or somebody (?), had bypassed temporarily the automation, and placed the system into a "Timeout" mode. Not a major problem at all, and normally nothing to worry about! Unless nobody did this and it is in this mode for more than 3 hours. Let me explain briefly...
What does this mean?
Time out is simply a manually entered mode, that will bypass automation for only 3 hours, and will return to normal "Auto" mode after those 3 hours.
Why is this function available?
If your pool service company arrives and the automation system is normally on "Auto" mode, and he or she finds that everything is off, not scheduled to come on yet or just had completed its normal cycle, the service company is somewhat out of luck if, lets say "Muriatic Acid" is to be added, or an "Algaecide" or some other Specialty chemical that needs the water to be circulation for a few hours after adding this product. What can the service person do, if no one is home to reprogram it or to turn it on? He/she can put it into "Service Mode", which is another mode available on an Automation system, but that overrides the system completely and will stay in that mode until it is once again manually changed back to "Auto" mode.
Timeout - is the mode the service provider will use, after using possibly service mode to turn the filter pump on so the pool can be vacuumed, then if a product like what was mentioned above is added, the system can then be manually placed into "Timeout" and the pool pump will run, mixing the chemicals in the pool, and then will automatically revert back to auto mode 3 hours later. Completing the job of diluting & mixing whatever the pool service provider added.

While watching tv we heard a pop and the receiver stopped working. Power button does nothing. We've opened it up but can't see anything that looks burnt or fried...

It could be a relay that burnt out, they usually dont show any signs of damage, or the motherboard could be fried too with no signs of damage eather! Hope this helps!

I have nec 4.5 kg washing machine,I was working fine till yesterday, today its not starting ,I tried to turn on doesnt happen anything. Please Help needed

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens, or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place, sorry but with such a fault it is impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.

I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

I have a Jandy Aqualink RS8 Wireless One Touch system that is not operating right. Auxiliary 3 is not working at all. Each time the filter pump automatically begins, three other auxiliaries (5, 6 and 7)...

Yes, you can just replace the board.
There are internal signals generated by the cpu board that open and close your aux relays.
With this type of failure (multiple aux's tripping at same) it is always just a board problem.
You will want to recheck all the wiring before installing new board to ensure that a short is not being created due to a bad connection.

My panel doesn"t respond. I have a open sensor. I unable to operate the main panel to service the equipment. Doc

splice the wires and either seperate them or connect them this will make the unit think there is a operating sensor if that fixes the probelm replace the sensor. sensors are a common problem. plus there are a few different styles of sensors and alot of pool companies are not aware of it. you may want to call jandy they usually are pretty helpful on the phone 800 227 1442 is the number i think
