Make sure that you have installed the latest drivers from Dell's website. Also make sure that the windows audio service is started in the Services window. You may access services window by Click on Start >> Run, type "services.msc" without the quotes and press Ok. If it is slready started, try restarting it.

i dont know what card is in this computer but checked all jacks speakers work fine from my phone, also checked all in control panel audio please help its a dell studio and number on back is 6D8RGH1, THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE WE BOUGHT THIS COMPUTER.
