My Arcus II is 20 years old. I don't know when Agfa stopped servicing their scanners. Mine uses scsi connections and it's connected to Mac G5 OS 9. My driver is Fotosnap. I have the original book and loose leaf.
I'm assuming this scanner interface is a SCSI connection. First thing you may want to look at is the SCSI ID number switch at the very back end of the scanner. Before changing the SCSI ID switch make sure your scanner is powered down. Repeat steps above when trying different SCSI ID numbers to see which one works with your computer. If you have other SCSI devices connected make sure they are not sharing the same SCSI ID # which will cause a conflict.
