By jammed do you mean thread jam? Have you removed sew plate and checked under feed dogs and bobbin for tangled thread and lint build up?

Bobbin thread gets jammed

Is it forming a stitch at all? Do you have your needle set properly and are you certain it is the correct size. it sounds like the hook isn't catching the loop formed by the needle. If changing the needle doesn't help. it might be time for a clean and adjust.

The main thread is not catching the bobbin thread

It looks like your timing of your bobbin hook is out you will need to have a service man adjust it for you.

Keeps getting jammed

Hello,
Give these solutions a try.

* Un-thread your machine and remove your bobbin. Clean any loose thread or lint out of your
bobbin case. Re-thread your machine, reinsert and re-thread your bobbin.

* Change your bobbin as there could be a nick along the edge of your bobbin spool that’s catching your thread as you sew.

* When you start to sew a seam, Hold the upper and bobbin thread tails back and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will keep them from getting jammed in your machine.

I hope this helps.

The bobbin thread will not loop up tight and catches the top thread on LS1520

When you first start to sew turn your right wheel by hand to take up the bobbin thread to the top of the face plate. Pull the bobbin thread and sewing thread together out for a couple of inches to avoid a jam of thread in your first few stiches.

Lower thread keeps jamming even though bobbin case is clean and tension on thread has been adjusted.

Hello,
Here are some things to try.

* Re-thread your machine

* Change your bobbin
There could be a nick along the edge of your bobbin spool that’s catching your thread as you
sew.

Also, before you start to sew a seam, grasp the upper and bobbin thread tails. Hold them back
and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will keep them from getting
caught in your machine.
I hope one of these solutions help.
