If you swap the rca cables going into amp if you still hear nothing from that side swap speaker and then check to see if it works. If not, you do indeed have a bad amp.

My rockford fosgate T1 amp blew a fuse and now protection is on

Chances are that more than a fuse went. I would follow (internally) the path of the wires from the speaker you mentioned - inside the amp. This should bring you out to the main amp. I think you will find that whatever powers that channel is faulty.

My amp blew the 20 amp fuses. Replaced and they blew as soon as the radio kicked in. Took the back off to look for any burnt connections or blown open/expanded capacitors or resistors. It smells like...

Remove all the wires from the amp including the remote turn on wire. Once you do that, after about 30 seconds the amp will reset. Hook the power up first, then the ground then the remote. Turn the unit on and check for power WITHOUT the speakers hooked up. If you get no power by now it's a good chance that the amp is cooked. If you do get power, try hoking up your speakers first on one channel then the other channel and then bridged. If it cuts out or off when you touch the speaker wires to one channel or the other, then that channel is no good. Hope this helps.

I have a four channel amp one side works good but

Switch input co-axel wires. If you still get the same result, you blew that channel on your amp. Repairable

You proberbly just blew that channel on your amp, maybe you should just take it in o a sound shop and ask them to fix it, the problem shouldn't be big enough for you to throw away the amp...

Take this apart and look at the magnet wire windings look for any thing broke or burnt. If not it is very likely it is more cost effective to buy new.
