When i go onto my i phone and the phone icon, the keyboard appears and when i touch contacts and recents it will not let me go to them. There is also an E at the top left hand corner of the screen. Does this have anything to do with it?

- When i click on the phone icon on the main screen of my Ipod, I get onto the keypad of the phone. It will not let me call anyone or move to contacts or recents. it appears that it is stationery. I would like to know how to fix this? Many thanks
