Question about RCA L32WD26D HDTV/DVD Combo
When I turn my RCA L32WD26D on, the power light changes from red to green to red to green over and over, the screen lights up for a moment, then it powers off, and then turns on again and repeats the process again over and over. Prior to this, it was making a clicking noise. Please assist!

SOURCE: RCA tv Making a clicking noise
This is a power supply problem it may be as simple as a blown fuse or as complex as a malfunctioning IHVT (Integrated High Voltage Transformer). Is it worth fixing, only you can answer that I would estimate the cost from $100.00 - $500.00 at least.

NO audio and no picture .... no power to on - off button. Checked outlet and it is good .... cable connection good - checked with another tv....

SOURCE: RCA D32F750T won't turn on
Well, I glad to know that fixing this set is unfruitful.
Yes, I am yet another unsatisfied customer with the same complaints.
Ha, my TV made some kind of weird noise and I saw a flash behind the set.
After pulling a back panel, because it only comes with a 1 year warrantee,
I saw the burned part.

The most common failures with LCD/ DVD combos is a failure in the DVD transport mechanism. The DVD transport mechanism is an easily replaced subassembly, that can be purchased for less than $200 in most cases. The best bet is t replace this mechanism ensuring that you purchase it from a vendor who will purchase it back if it dos not fix the problem for some reason.
In the event that the DVD player replacement does not solve the problem, the second most common problem is LCD's is the power supply module. Assuming that you do not want to have a shop repair this unit, search for a power supply module online and replace it yourself, ensuring you can return it if it doesn't resolve the problem.
There are other things that cause that symptom on LCD tvs that are beyond the scope of this discussion.
