Sound like you have a short in the wiring somewhere.. Check with volt meter to see if you get reading.. If so thermo shorted out and will need to be replaced.

Jenn air side by side completely powered down. No clicks no noises just simply was working at 5am then dark as night at 7am. Checked power, flipped circuit, tried reset, tried manual on/off. Nothing

If there were no lights on inside I would have to say a connection from the power source to the fridge has been rattled loose. But if the lights were on and nothing was running, you may have a compresser problem. I would pull the frige out and pull the back bottom panel off and look for burnt or loose wires following the plug wire into the fridge. If the lights are on when you plug it in and you have the back off, put your hand on the compresser, if it is not vibrating and is very hot it is done fore and needs to be replaced. If it is cool and the lights are on I could check the connection on the thermostat inside the fridge. If it is clicking and nothing is happening the t-stat contacts may be stuck open Good luck

My fridge is not cold

Check the thermostat is giving power to the compressor and the condenser is clear and clean. Check all fans are working, and the evaporator (inside) isn't frozen solid. Assuming all this is ok, and the fridge components are working but it is still not cooling, it has lost it's gas charge. Time for a new one!

Zanussi zx99/5 not working ,lights still working but freezer defrosting and fridge getting warmer

sounds like the thermostat inside the fridge has gone.
The information I have provided is a guide and is not directly related to the make and model of the appliance brand you have but seems to cover the majority of household fridge freezers I have come accross. There is a dial inside the fridge usually up on the right side wall of the fridg where the light is. It is usual for the thermostat unit to be inside the plastic housing behind the dial. It is easy to replace the thermostat because I have done it myself and it worked. I am not an expert so if I can do it then anybody could. the unit is usually a standard replacement unit which costs roughly £20.00 available from fridge freezer repair shops. I got my replacement from Sale Appliances, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The unit comes with the thermometer type wire which fixes to the back of the fridge - inside that is- already attatched to it and all you need to do is remove the screw holding the housing in place (unplug from mains first of course), remove bulb, prise off the plastic housing to reveal thermostat unit, take some detailed pictures of how the wires are attatched or take detailed notes and diagrams, pull off the eelectical connectors (may need a pair of pliers to help, but must be gentle so as not to rip wires out of the connectors), put in new thermostat and rewire as it was before. You will not have to literally rewire the thing but simply slide the wired connectors onto the correct place. The connections are numbered both on the old unit as well as the new unit. Dont worry if the connectors on the rear of the new unit is different to the old one so long as you connect the wires to the same number it wont matter where that connector is located e.g. number two always fixes to the number two marked on the unit, number 3 to numbr 3 etc.

My fridge wont kick on at all... no noise nothing. What coudl it be?

Unplug and then go inside the fresh food compartment and open the cover that holds the thermostat control. Join or straight wire the two wires together and if it runs you need to replace the thermostat. If not we need to move down to compressor area. I will need you to read off the model number that is on your refrigerator,For example sears numbers look like this 915.245687

Light inside won't go on after replacing light bulb. Noise coming from underneath refrigerator.

I replaced a circuit board that is in the white box at the lower left rear of the fridge. You will need to remove the cardboard cover, then there is two screws to loosen the box. The circuit board is inside. There is a white tab that sticks up push it sideways and it will pop right out. Put the plugs in the new board and pop it back in and put everything back together. Be sure the wires are routed so they do not contact the compressor.
If you want to test it first get a voltmeter one probe to CN1, the white wire, and the other to CN2, yellow wire with red stripe, there should be 120 volts. If not, or when the door is open it drops replace the board.
I did not have a voltmeter but it seems everybody that had a problem the fridge was 4 to 5 years old. So I bit the bullet, around $90.00, and replaced it and it works!
