Danby Silhouette DBC2760BLS beeping and flashing hi

  1. If the "HI", "LO" or "CL" error codes appear on the display for more than 5 minutes, a power reset may rectify the issue. Unplug the appliance, wait 5 minutes and then plug the unit back in. If the error code persists after a power reset, contact consumer care or an authorized service agent.

My unit is flashing a red light in the water full indicator. Therefor the air conditioner will not function. Both water tanks are completely empty. It is a portable Danby unit. Model SPAC 8499-3. Any...

You may need to reset the unit, if you did not turn it OFF & unplug it when you drained the tanks
To reset the units electronics, turn the unit OFF and unplug it for 15 minutes. After the time has elapsed, plug the unit in & turn it ON. The electronics should have reset and reverted back to the original factory settings. If so, you can adjust the settings to where you like.

Hope this helped you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

It does no obey to any commands other than lighting up with the letters (RC1)

RC 1 or DVD 1 is the unit's default remote command mode. You can try the following with the remote:

While the unit is on, pick up the remote, then press and hold [ ENTER/OK ] and the number [ 1 ] button together for 5 - 10 seconds, then release. Repeat the procedure if it makes no difference and the unit still ignores the remote. If it doesn't work, try new batteries, then repeat the above.

{ You can reset the unit if necessary (press and hold [ CH UP ] and [ CH DOWN ] button together for 5 - 10 seconds on the front panel (not the remote), until 'SETUP' appears in the display). }

Hopefully this should help a bit. You should not need to continuously reset either the main unit or the remote.

I have a Danby Designer 8000BTU ac unit model# DAC8003D. The is a E1 flashing on the screen. How do I solve this?

Their manual says to clean the air filter. Unplug the unit (I suggest for aleast 1 full min.), and then plug back in. This is supposed to reset the unit.

Check out this web site as it should show the manual for your unit.

Unit will not turn off when OFF button is pushed.

I followed the instruction on how to reset the computer components, but the unit keep flashing Normal, Bypass and Phantom. The clock was flashing, so I resent the clock, and the flashing back and forth stopped. I just tried it again to be sure it was still working properly and it is!

Buttons dont work on danby microwave

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.

If it still isn;t working I would contact Danby Customer Service US / Canada.
