Question about Yamaha HTR-5760 Receiver

1 Answer

Yamaha HTR-5760 goes to standby 2 seconds after power on

I've followed all remedies given in the Owner's Manual in the troubleshooting section regarding this issue but I couldn't make the Receiver to STAY ON. I have tried these and none works.

1) Connect power cord firmly
2) Set the impedance (rear switch) to match with speakers
3) Check speaker connection. Firm connection and no wires are shorted
4) Unplug power cord and plug it back in after 1 minute.

Please help !!!

Thanks,
Joe

You need to connect a composite cable from the receiver. The receiver does not carry a composite signal over component cables.

Not powering on

1. The power cord is not completely insered. 2. the impedance selector switch on the rear panel is not fully set to the upper or lower end - (set it when the unit is in the standby mode) other then that, you will have to call for a service.
