The Phone is stuck on Voicemail and won't go away?!

do you have the phone with an answering machine like:

Or are you using a voice mail system on your phone line? If so, contact the voicemail company or your phone company for information on how to change the number of rings before the forward.

usually this means you have voicemail...listen to the messages and delete them and the beeps should go away...

In order to get this off your screen you will have to follow whatever procedure your phone carrier provides. I had the same problem, and went to Comcast Website. I discovered I had one voicemail waiting for me to listen to, once I did, and deleted it, the display went away.

There is a Do Not Disturb button on the base unit. Press it to turn the feature on and off.

what you do is call your own phone number it will tell you to set up a voicemail account and make a 4 digit pin ....once that is made you can listen to the prompts to listen to your voicemail and erase the messege and the phone will get back to its normal self hope this helps

Unplug the battery. Hold down The * (star) and the #(hash) keys simultaneously. Re-connect the battery, phone will beep and screen will be blank. Press the voicemail (righthand silver key under the lcd screen). As above EEPROM/RAM message will appear. Place handset on base and your problem is solved.
