My portable dvd says "wrong disc"

Hi,
I have a coby portable dvd player. lately when i put a disk in it says "wrong disc" i know for sure that this disk is ok, more over it says that to any other disc i put in. what can be the problem?

wrong disc message keeps popping up. govideo out of business.tried cleaning disc and air gun. still getting "wrong disc" message.

we've reset to factory settings several times according to instructions but that doesn't offer any help so far.
