Question about HP LaserJet 4 plus Printer
My printer keeps saying it has a paper jam but I have checked it very carefully and there is no paper jam. I have unplugged it, disconnected it, added new paper, tried printing a different color......Nothing works, I keep getting a paper jam message. Please Help.
It appear from here that the exit sensor may be dirty and you can use canned air and blow it out.
You may also be missing the paper out sensor that is located at the bottom of the printer oposite of the paper tray when you pull it out. When the flag arm has fallin out, it will give a false paper jam error when the last sheet has printed from the tray, not knowing or detecting that the tray is now empty.
