Here's my suggestion. Take it to the jewelry dept at Walmart. Do you have one where you live.
They'll replace for free - Battery $8
Watch how they do it with their tools and you'll know how to do it yourself in the future.
Good luck

I need to change the battery of my watch and i don't find the place for removing the back cover

some watches have a notch that comes out where you can get a knife, or exacto blade underneath to pop it open. if not, there may be multiple intends along the ridge that would require a special tool to twist open. any jewler could change the battery for you. also, batteries plus stores can change the battery out at a reasonable price.

Water inside

you need to open the back plate of your watch and sit the watch in a dry warm area for atleast 24 hours to allow the water to evaporate and dry out..to open the back If the back plate of your watch is smooth around the edges, then it will pry off. Look carefully around the edges for a spot with a small gap, which it may or may not have. Prying gently with the tip of a sharp knife, usually with a light twisting motion, will pop the back plate off the watch. It simply presses back into place with moderate-to-light pressure. IF the back plate has notches around the edge, it need to be unscrewed from the back. Harbor Freight has a cheap tool to engage these notches and turn the plate, but I've had good luck simply using the tips of a needle-nose pliers to engage these notches and unscrew the plate.

How do you take the back off a Seiko 7N43-9070?

There is a special tool required that will help you to unscrew the case back on the watch. I found mine at a local WalMart, in the watch battery section of the jewelry area, for $5. This tool will work on other brands, as well, with the same type of case back.

Need to open. coleman 40-334 watch not sure if the back is threaded

mcdevito75 here, If the back screws down, you"ll see a series of square holes around the edge of the back cover, in this case you"ll need a special tool called a case back remover tool to un-screw the back cover. If there are no square holes on the back cover, most likely it"s a press type back cover and some of these cavers are very hard to get back on wothout another tool called a case back press tool, these mentioned tools are available on ebay, but, with just a battery replacement, the time and tools you may need the cost is more than a watch repair shop would charge you. Best Bet, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for this once a year or even longer battery change.

How do i open back cover

Some watches have a press on stainless steel back. You can tell that it is this type if there are no indented notches around the back for a spanner tool, and if there is a small indention on one of the edges up near the band that will take a prying tool to unsnap the wedge fit. The other types with the 6-10 indentions around the back are generally for water proof watches. this takes a jewelers spanner to unscrew the back being mindful of a sealing gasket around the screw threads, if this gets broken or elongated, you must put a new one in to seal the watch.

How do i open this thing? pry off or screw off? seiko womens 100m.

I have no ideal. All i know is that it is a Seiko womans watch and Seiko has numerous types of backs on them!! If it has 6 notches on the back, then yes, it is a screw off and it takes a special tool to open the back. Please take to a local jeweler who sells SEIKO to have the battery replaced.

How do I open the case? The rear bezel has six notches along the rim. I need to regulate the mechanism, which runs a little fast.

You need a special tool to remove the back. I afraid it can only be done by a watch repairer if you wish to avoid damaging the case.

I have a Seiko stainless steel ladies watch, 3 years old, only one 'winder' no fancy buttons, analogue style. It has suddenly started beeping every hour - how do I turn it off?

mcdevito75 here, The beeping must be a signal that the battery is weak, have the battery changed. Look for a small watch repair shop in your area for the battery change.

Can't get the back off the watch to change the battery. No indentation to suggest where to open. What do I use to open the watch--how do I go about doing it?

Take your watch to a dealer in that brand. I'm guessing that your watch has square notches around the underside. The dealer has a special tool that will fit into these notches and the back will twist off as it is threaded onto the watch, not pressure fitted into it.

CH2301 battery replacement. How open compartment?

There are 2 ways that Fossil closes the caseback on their watches.  It is either a 'pop-off' caseback that you will need to pry off.  Get something very small and thin, such as a small flathead screwdriver.  There is usually a small groove somewhere around the edge of the caseback where you can insert the blade.  The other type screws off.  You will need to unscrew the caseback.  You can determine if it screws off by looking for 6 notches around the outside edge of the caseback.  You will use these notches to insert a tool to rotate the caseback off.  Without a specialized tool called a watch-wrench, I suggest bringing it to a store such as Precision Time or Tourneau.
