Sounds like the belt broke. You will have to take the back off to find out. The other thing it could be is your brushes are burned out on the motor. If you hear it "turning" when it is on then it is the belt. If you hear nothing mechanized when it is on then it is your motor. You will also need to check the temp sensors. They could keep it from moving as well.

My dryer was squeaking really bad, so I sprayed WD 40 on the pulley & belt, squeaking stopped but the dryer also stopped turning. The pulley still turns but the dryer drum doesn't

The belt is slipping now. Need to clean the WD40 off, use methylated spirits, isopropyl or rubbing alcohol on a cloth.
