Question about Refrigerators
The refridgerator has large quanitities of water in it (aprox. 1X day) which is leaking from around cold air vents from freezer section. Unplugged, bottom plate in freezer removed, reveals extensive buildup of ice into drain pipe - pan at bottom of fridge bone dry. Thaw freezer, and problems goes away for a period of time. Why is freezer building up? And is water in fridge occuring during defrost cycle?
Looks like your defrost element is bad and needs replacement. Or if you can do a manual defrost and check if you are getting heat on the element. If there is heat, you can find a piece of copper wire and wind it around the element, leaving a trailing length of around two centimeters into the outlet drainpipe. By conduction this should keep the drainpipe clear.

The water supply line from the water inlet valve enters the rear of the freezer and releases the water into a large diameter fill tube. The fill tubes hangs above the fill cup which funnels the water into the ice mold. If the fill tube and fill cup are improperly aligned, water may spill out instead of going into the mold.
