SOURCE: Blue Tint
Most likely cause would be a loose solder connection that expands as the set warms up until it no longer makes a connection. You may get the blue to come and go by hitting the side of the cabinet after the set is warmed up awhile. (don't hurt your hand doing this, and don't keep doing it to "fix" the set. The connection will have to be located and repaired). Otherwise, there could be a component going bad, including the blue picture tube.

sounds like your optical block lenses has melted due to heat.

This might sound like a worn spot in the (blue) lens from heat, or a bad color driver on the mother board. It could possibly be dirt or condensation behine the lens(s)

This is what you're going to do, Turn on the Tv and go to the service manual, if the green tint is still there, you have a defective dmd board, but if it's no there, then you have an issue with your video board
