Check that bluetooth is turned on, on your Samsung Phone which is likely but make sure that your phone is set as visible to all devices. Then try searching again for the bluetooth speaker.
Do u have Bluetooth connectivity in both ur Laptop & ur phone?.............if YES then connect both of them by switching on their Bluetooth device and transfer whatever u want. Otherwise please buy a Bluetooth dongle for ur laptop and install it for the same purpose..........
you have to pair your samsung phone to your laptop first before you can start sending and receiving files through bluetooth.
an option is, turn the bluetooth on your laptop on, then the bluetooth of your mobile phone on. on your phone, search for devices, then once you see the name of the bluetooth device of your laptop, tap it then choose connect or pair, you will be asked for a passkey (you can input anything try 0) or in some devices wait until a pop screen appears which will contain the passkey usually 5 to 6 digits. then click ok
another option is (i tried this using my samsung corby wifi and a samsung n150 laptop and it works just fine) make sure that the bluetooth on your laptop and phorne is turned on. on your laptop click on the bluetooth icon or click the file you want to send, then right click, then choose send to bluetooth, your laptop will then search for available devices, just choose your mobile phone then automatically there is a popscreen which has a passkey, then click ok. on your phone you will be asked to allow to connect thru the laptop, just click ok, then make sure that the passkey matches between your phone and laptop. (usually it is automatic, you just need to click ok) you should be able to send and receive files thru bluetooth on your phone and laptop
Connect the Samsung cell phone and computer. If you are connecting via USB, connect one end of the USB cable to your Samsung phone and the other end to your computer. It may take a few seconds for the proper drivers for the AT&T Samsung phone to install. If pairing via Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Samsung phone and start a search for devices on your Bluetooth-enabled computer by right-clicking the Bluetooth icon in your taskbar.
Launch Internet Sharing, found in the Start menu on your AT&T Samsung cell phone. Open the application.
Configure Internet Sharing. The status menu should read "Disconnected." Under the PC Connection setting, select the method you will use to connect your cell phone to the computer--USB and Bluetooth PAN are the choices. You shouldn't need to change anything under Network Connection, unless a network other than AT&T is showing on the display.
Start the Internet Sharing connection. On your AT&T Samsung device, press the Connect soft key. It may take up to 30 seconds for the connection to be negotiated, during which the status line may say "Check USB cable connection"; this is normal.
Connect the computer to the Internet sharing phone. If your computer and phone are paired via USB, no further pairing is needed. You will see the shared Internet connection as a wired connection in your Network and Sharing control panel on the computer. If you are connected to the Internet Sharing application via a Bluetooth personal area network, the computer must be synced to the phone. Right-click on the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar and select "Connect to a PAN" or similar, based on the version of Windows you are using. A list of all Bluetooth PAN connections within range is shown; select your AT&T Samsung phone. The PAN connection will be negotiated, and the Internet connection will be shared.
you have not provided the problem you are facing while connecting. firstly you have to have bluetooth driver installed in the laptop. be sure of it. better download a fresh one and install it. now turn your bluetooth device on . turn on bluetooth of the phone aswell. now search for devices in the laptop. choose the device and select the service you want. its simple. sometimes it requires pairing. hope you know how to pair it. thanks.
Please let me know how are you trying to connect your phone through the cable provided with the phone or through bluetooth?
If you want to connect your Phone with Laptop via Bluetooth, you need to have a Laptop equipped with bluetooth facility built-in, through which you can pair your handset with the handset bluetooth and transfer files.
Else if you are trying to connect it via the cable provided with the phone, you can set your handset connectivity to USB mode and check if your laptop recognizes your phone as a USB device or not, in case it doesn't then you need to install the Samsung PC Studio software which came with the phone and then you would be able to connect your phone to your laptop
