Get an external SD card reader/writer. They range from 3.00 to 13.00 US. It makes transferring photos way faster than using the cable that came with the camera. Photo's load directly to your hard drive so photo editing is easier.
The proper drivers are not loaded for your camera, Windows 7 is very touchy about drivers. you need to go to Samsung web site and see if there is an updated driver for your model camera.
If I may recommend an alternative solution, it's better to leave off digital zoom. You can do the same thing on your computer by loading the image and then increasing the size. Digital Zoom spreads the image over more pixels, but doesn't give you a better image.

Hay mate, I had the same problem and called the warranty butlater discovered that the battery was the issue (I used Kodak batteries but thecamera needs to have either alkaline batteries or Ni-MH batteries) Once Ireplaced the batteries of my replacement camera, problem solved.
