Broken choke control on snowblower

I have a honda hs 20 snowblower. The choke seems to be broken. When I look underneath I see that the choke control knob is not connected to anything underneath. Do I need new parts, or can I fix this myself? What does the choke connect to? ( sorry its in the wrong category, but there is nothing for snowblowers here......)

Had trouble starting the snowblower but when it finally started...it went straight to about 3,000 rpms and I thought it was going blow up. I pushed the choke in and it went faster.

Sounds like the springs on the carb have either come off or broken or got caught on something. Don't run this way or it will ruin it.

I have a new, first s ason and broken in 20'hp honda outboard. Full choke fine starts first pull. After warm up and leaving at dock for 20 minutes it restarts hard with and without choke

Hi Ira:
Honda's are notoriously reliable, so, since it is a new engine, I'd be heading straight for the shop where I purchased it.
From personal experience, every one of the different pieces of equipment that I own has slightly different starting characteristics.
Once you determine the "routine" for your outboard, it should work the same way, every time.

I have a honda snowblower SZAN-1131370 how can i stop the back firing it starts up ok with chock on but when i shut choke off it seems to backfire does the air needle valve need to be adjusted

Carburetors never need to be adjusted once they have been adjusted at the factory UNLESS something is not right with the carb.
If the gas has been in there since last season I suggest you take the bowl off the carb and see if the Ethanol Gas caused the internal parts to rust. Ethanol gas is a very bad idea that the politicians forced on us without considering the affects

Sovereign strimmer HS-PT-2538

I had this problem once when machine was hot it was difficult to restart, I've found putting choke on slightly, about a quarter of the way, and not touching the throttle will see it starting, then put choke back off and leave it to idle for 20 - 30 seconds before using. Seems to be a characteristic of this strimmer.

1983 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 backfires

Hi, Jstevens47 and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery should have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
2. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
3. Faulty main circuit breaker and or connections.
4. Faulty ignition coil and or connections.
5. Faulty spark plug, oil or gas fouled, wrong heat range or service type, wrong gap, loose in the cylinder head, broken electrode or insulator.
6. Faulty spark plug cables, leaking or broken, internal damage check for spark leakage in the dark.
7. Faulty ignition module, switch, CKP, MAP, CMP, sensor and or any connector in the ignition circuit could have corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets
8. Burnt exhaust valve or air leak in the exhaust system.
9. Improper valve clearance (too tight).

Nokia HS-20 AD-41 broken who can repair please help me with a diagram

If the wires are open or the connections are visibly broken then the connections can be mended. But if there is fault in the earpieces then I suggest that cost a new one must be checked before you think of getting this repaired.

Sounds like you are hitting the governor. Watch the arms at the carb when you move it to full throttle. The arm should hit a screw. Turn this screw clockwise, until the reving stops.
