SOURCE: i need to delete photos

go to manufacturer's website, find cam, and download the manual to find out. That's the first thing to do. On your cam, you may have an icon of a trashcan. Press it and see what happens (you usually do this while you're looking at the pics on the LCD). Most of the cams I had gave me the option to delete all the images on the card or to delete only the current photo (the one on the LCD).
You may be able to open the memory card on your computer (the way you got the photos to put them on a disk), select all the pics, and delete them.

SOURCE: memory card locked

pull the SD card from the the slot and it right side up with the label facing you, there is a short slot on the side with a sliding switch. move it to the other side of the slot and that will unlock the card. (it probably go moved as your were putting the card back into your camera) good luck!

SOURCE: Memory full; how to clear

Sounds like you will need to format the internal memory of the camera. This will permanently erase all the data from the internal memory and then you will be able to use it again. To format the memory: Remove the xD card from the camera - Press the Menu button - right arrow to setup - right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the memory so it can be used again.

SOURCE: i own a samsung ST60

Sounds like your camera has some pictures on its internal memory and is preventing the memory card from working. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, your memory card should work.

SOURCE: my camera memory card has been deleted but my photoes recover by any software plz tell us

As a matter of fact, no matter your photos in Canon camera got deleted, formatted by accident or became inaccessible due to camera memory card errors. Chances of recovery is possible as long as you take the right action.

Take a try of this tool to recover photos from Canon, Not only general photo formats, but Canon RAW photo formats (.cr2 or .crw) can be retrieved easily.

Note: before the photos are recovered, Never should you attempt to take more photos or save more data to the memory card in case chances of photo recovery might be reduced. Hope it helps. Regards.

When l take my SD card, it still says " DCF Full Error"

Hello and Welcome

The DCF error message with your Samsung camera nearly always occurs when you're using a memory card that was formatted with a different camera, and the file format structure is not compatible with your Samsung camera. You will have to format the card with the Samsung camera. However, make sure you download any photos to your computer first

I am unable to take photos with my samsung digimax s800 camera as the message 'CARD LOCKED' keeps coming up on screen. I have deleted loads of photos so the memory card is definitely not full. Any ideas?

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hello, I have a samsung es55 camera and need to retrieve some pictures after they have been deleted. I have looked online and it seems this is possible through accessing the recycle bin, thought I can't...

I'm working on the premise that you've deleted the photos from your camera memory or memory card.

If you have and used them since, its unlikely that you'll be able to retrieve them, you could have already over written them.

Its unlikely that you've deleted to your recycle bin, thats on your PC, usually already on your desktop. Camera's normally delete for good.

However, check your pc recycle bin, just double click onto it, it should be on your desk top. Once open you can choose to restore deleted files.

There are 2 file recovery programmes available for free from "filehippo.com" called "recuva" and "PC Inspector File Recovery 4.0". Download and install either of these onto your pc and recover from you camera memory to your pc (just create a folder on you desktop".

Good luck.

Memory full ... when there are no pictures

Try refomatting the memory card. Basically this removes all data from the card and makes sure it is empty.

It sounds like you have copied the pictures to your computer but NOT told the camera to delete from the camera card as you do so.

Check your camera manuals for details.
